Have you ever been in a room where something seems missing? It can be as simple as the furnishings are too small or big for a room. When decorating my home, I was made aware of how important it is to have pieces large enough to make an impact on the room. Now when I go in someones home, I notice if the light fixture above the table is too small, or if the table itself is too small for the room. You can keep that same idea in mind throughout your house. Living in Plano where the houses have high ceilings, it is important to make sure the pieces you put in your rooms, fit the size of the room.

Notice in this clients picture to the left that the lamps, drapes and bed are in ideal proportion to each other and the space.
